Views, views and more views are what make this summer home so popular and memorable.  Everywhere you look you can see the ocean, islands and big blue sky.  This quintessential Maine summer home is classic, timeless, and a vacationer's dream. Water access  is available at Grimes Cove Beach just a short drive and Grimes Cove Beach also has a boat ramp to launch small watercraft.

Guests have access to the “Casino” (the local community center dating back to 1905) with daily and weekly activities that are posted on their web site or outside the Casino on the bulletin board.  There is a fee for the use of the tennis courts. There is a wonderful playground by the community center and a community field that often has a softball game going on.  Visit the community dock and float located in front of the Ocean Point Inn while enjoying a walk along Shore Road and Ocean Point rocky shore line.  Perhaps walk to the Ocean Point Inn for a meal.  Hike along the Ocean Point Preserve, part of the Boothbay Region Land Trust.  Spend time at the house, bask in the warmth of the shore breezes while relaxing on the enclosed porch and take delight in watching those sunsets while eating your dinner or sipping your morning coffee.  Pull up a chair to watch the world go by or to watch the kids play in the large yard.  Happy memories are sure to be made during your stay here.

The Villa is a 115 year old, well maintained summer home located in Ocean Point of East Boothbay, a mere six miles from Boothbay Harbor. It overlooks Linekin Bay to the West and North; the Atlantic Ocean to the South and provides a 180 degree view of the Linekin Bay and the Atlantic from the enclosed porch.

In the evening you will enjoy breathtaking sunsets. Walking, jogging and biking along the shore are memorable experiences where the spruce meets the sea. The Ocean Point Colony, as it exists today with many of its original 19th century cottages, remains primarily a residential community. Many of the cottages have been with these families for generations. Ocean Point is a favorite for the locals, year round, to walk along Shore Road, watching the sunsets or the boating traffic. Come, relax and make many happy Maine memories.

The original wide-pine floors throughout the house offset the birch wood walls perfectly. The floor to ceiling windows allow light and colors to infuse the rooms of this 115 year ocean cottage. The galley-style kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, refrigerator and a dishwasher. The butcher block table is a newer addition, but already feels like it has been there all along! Big bay window in the kitchen allows lots of sunshine in and makes this kitchen a delight! The large picture window in the dining room allows plenty of natural light and spectacular views for your enjoyment.  The office that is off the dining room contains a quiet spot to curl up on the sofa to watch a show or movie on the large, flat screen TV or read in the wing back chair.  A three quarter shower bathroom is off the office.

The second floor has five charming bedrooms with ocean views through floor to ceiling windows which make waking up a special part of each new day. Three of the bedrooms have Queen Beds, one has a Double Bed and the last bedroom has two Single beds.

2nd Floor: Queen, Queen, Queen, Double, 2 Singles (Bunk Beds)

Vacation Rentals. Privately Owned. Professionally Managed. Trusted since 1993.
Cottage Connection was one of the first vacation rental companies in the Mid-coast region of Maine. Jeff and Audrey Miller, who own three vacation rental homes themselves had an aha moment when they realized they could not find anyone who ‘got it’ to manage their rentals for them. Since 1993 they have been trusted by homeowners and vacationers to “connect” each family with the perfect cottage for their vacation. As Audrey puts it; “The home they stay in becomes a personality, a part of their lore when a family connects with the right cottage. Whether they want a rustic cabin in the woods or a high-end ocean bungalow, the right setting sets the tone for the entire vacation.” Learn more about how Cottage Connection can help make your vacation perfect!

The team is very professional. They were in contact with me online and answered all questions I had. They make it very easy to check in. I even stopped in one day to tell them about something in the house and more then one of them came out to help. I will definitely rent from them again.
We were very please with our experience at this property. The home is in a great location with great views. The owner made sure to have everything you may need. The home has a lot of charm to it.

When asked what was their favorite feature of the property, this guest wrote "It allows my 89 year old Mother to continue to come to the Point to enjoy the view, hear the ocean, and watch the sun go down."

Our stay was perfect... Everything, house and staff, beyond expectations. We had been to Ocean Point before and knew we wanted to stay at the 'Villa'.
The location and the house itself made our vacation wonderful, the food was a close second. The "Toy" room on the porch was the biggest surprise, our grandson LOVED it!
