This is a great place to relax in peace and quiet after exploring Maine. This 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath Cape is centrally located for easy day trips to explore Camden/Rockland, Damariscotta/Pemaquid, Boothbay Harbor, and Augusta. All of these areas are within a 25 to 35 minute drive.
The House: This charming nicely furnished antique cape accommodates 6 people in 3 bedrooms. There is a screen porch, a fully equipped kitchen with windows out to the Stream, a living room and adjoining dining room, and a laundry room with washer/dryer. The yard is spacious for croquet, badminton, corn hole or a barbeque.
On the first floor: a bathroom with a tub/shower and a bedroom with a queen bed
On the second floor: a half bathroom and 2 bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with two twins.

The largest lake in Lincoln County (over 4,000 acres!) Damariscotta Lake has excellent fishing, offers terrific kayaking and canoeing and is the home to many bird species including heron, loons, ducks and more. Damariscotta Lake State Park is not far from the cottage, with picnic tables, a nice sandy beach, and a grilling area. Known for its colonial architecture and historical significance, Damariscotta is also well known for its Shell Middens dating back some 2500 years. Be sure to walk through at least one. The Pemaquid Peninsula encompasses many little towns and villages, each with its own personality and offerings for you to discover. At the end of the peninsula, there is a beach, a lighthouse, and a park. The Pemaquid WaterShed has miles of trails and acres of preserves to explore. Historical grave sites, the Rachel Carson Preserve, art galleries, restaurants, whale & puffin watches and trips to Monhegan Island are all adventures awaiting you! There is so much history to explore.
A 4-NIGHT MINIMUM IS REQUIRED FOR NON-PEAK SEASON RENTALS. We require at least 72 hours’ notice of intent to rent so the cottage can be prepared for your stay.
